I Love My Dog是二十世纪七十年代英国民谣摇滚歌手Cat Stevens（凯特·斯蒂文斯）的第一支单曲，其创作灵感来源于美国著名爵士大师Yusef Lateef的作品《The Plum Blossom》（1961年），1966年9月31日由知名制作人Mike Hurst在Deram Records（隶属迪卡唱片）发行，收录在其个人首张唱片《Matthew and Son》中，单曲在UK Singles Chart（英国单曲榜）最高排28位，并以此走红。
Cat Stevens（凯特·斯蒂文斯）是英国民谣摇滚的代表人物，原名史蒂文·乔治乌（Steven Georgiou）。当他成为一名国际明星之后，于1979年皈依宗教并放弃了他的音乐事业并在1977年改名为Yusuf Islam，两年后，他逐渐从流行音乐界淡出。1981年，Yusuf Islam开始创作一些宗教题材的歌曲。迄今为止，他在他自己的Mountain of Light厂牌已经发行了10张单是鼓加人声的专辑，而这些内容被他精选收录到了最近的专辑《Footsteps in the Light》当中。
